Introduction video runs forever or?
« on: August 16, 2016, 05:44:12 PM »
Hi,

I watched the video for a while, the one with the green lazers, but I am unsure if this is ever suppose to end?
Or does it keep running in a loop?

Thanks.

Do you see a white screen? cause that's a known issue we are working on right now... the movies both take about 20-25 mins to finish..

I do have the white screen when I play the second video, but the first one does work, it has no sound though.

After the 20/25 mins it goes to the next scene right? So manually selecting the next screen would not skip anything besides the video, right?

I also have the camera sensor disconnecting on loading levels. it will pop up the oculus screen, but if you escape it with the remote, the game continues. It also stutters the sound a bit when this happens

Great work btw, good sound and atmosphere. ;)

Hi.  From what I can tell, it seems that the orientation videos output to whatever device is set to the Default sound output device, while the rest of the game goes to the Oculus headphones, even if something else is set as the default.  If you switch the headphones to default before starting (or pause and switch out to the control panel if you forget to do it first), then the audio works in the headset.

(Hopefully there is some switch you can set in the video player and patch it in the future.)

I actually already tried this. I even disabled all audio devices before starting, to no avail
But thanks for the tip.
