patreon_demo not displaying in oculus rift headset

The free demo worked perfectly, but for some reason the patreon demo just runs on my monitor instead of my headset. It doesn't trigger the start of my oculus home application like other software when it works propery, and I have tried manually starting it first. I tried the right ctrl and everything I can think of, am I missing something? Note this is the download described as "slave demo". Love the product so far, this is great and I hope you continue the great work.

EDIT: After further research, I am guessing this is because some of these demos are pre SDK 1.3? The milking machine 1.3 sdk works but not the 0.8 on my CV1 oculus.

Lot's of the old demos are for SDK 0.8. As a support reward, we give out one each month. We've upgraded most of the reward scenes to SDK 1.3, and that took some time to do it, so by pledging more than 10USD you have a access to these old scenes with SDK 1.3 + you get quite a lot of other stuff from the development process.
